Play Leader 🤸

We are looking for an individual who can work during the school holiday period for all or at least 3 days a week.

​

Play Leader: (Casual) Up to 52.5 hrs per week during school holidays if desired.

​

Play Leader: £8.00 - £11.50 per hour

*Your pay rates will depend on your experience and qualifications

​

School holiday - club operational hours: 8.15am - 6.15pm - Monday-Friday

About Us

We aim to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for children to learn, play and explore their interests in an enriching and familiar environment. We pride ourselves on our positive feedback from parents and children, who are at the heart of our club and are at the forefront of our club improvement. We are determined to constantly evolve and further our practice by adopting a self reflection method to improving our services. Our activities are carefully planned from conversations with the children and have a child centred approach to creating exciting and educational play for the children in our care.

 

The Adventure

To join our team you will ideally have experience of working with Primary School children aged 4-11 years. Although, if you are enthusiastic, approachable and have the passion and desire to build a career with children we want to hear from you!

 

About you

Love people? Love Kids? Love making a difference? Love to hear from you. We’re looking for a passionate people person, who want to make a difference to children’s futures. 

Some of the qualifications we always keep our eyes peeled for are:

 

  • Level 2/3 Sport Coaching / Childcare or Play work qualification or relevant experience

  • Must be able to engage children in activity

  • Can you make children feel valued, supported and cared for every single day?

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Paediatric first aid would be beneficial but not essential

 

Our team members are all DBS checked as we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our care, this means you will need to be at least 17 years old.
